Erinn Diaz and Serah Hale have perfected the sound and spirit of the 1940s. These two spirited and respectful women have joined together to keep alive the songs of times gone by, and if you listen to their stunning version of “Ballad of the Green Berets,” you’ll truly find your hearts fill up with pride.

Performing at a Veterans of Foreign Wars post in the video below, these two performers have travelled throughout over 20 states in order to entertain veterans and civilians alike. In the spirit of the old and golden days of the USO, these women truly manage to transport their audience 70 years into the past.

The dynamic duo call themselves Letters From Home, and their mission is to perform comedic and patriotic routines all in order to honor our brave American veterans of the past as well as any and all active-duty military personnel who are lucky enough to watch their perfectly executed song and dances.

In the video below you can watch the two perform this solemn song; try your best not to tear up at its tear-inducing lyrics. The song is simple in nature, but it really will take you on a journey. It tells the story of the brave men who put their lives on the line in order to keep us all safe, and of the military wives who is given the duty of waiting for her brave husband’s return.

Please watch this incredible performance, and please SHARE if you love America’s brave military men and women of the past, present, and future!
