On CBS Mornings, Davis said she enjoyed “getting to play kind of a badass” character who “refuses to be sidelined by age” in the new series.

“It rubs off on you when you get to pretend,” she explained. “I was raised to be the politest, most self-effacing person in the world but then playing these characters … it made me much more confident in my personal life.”
