One of the greatest gifts a mother can give to her child is the freedom to be passionate about something. And if that something just so happens to be the very same thing that the mother loves, well, then that’s even better.

Mothers and their daughters always have a special bond, but this bond is strengthened even further when the two can spend time doing something they both love together. Whatever it may be, the memories that are formed and the relationship that is built through these hours spent with one another will last forever.

Take this mother and daughter duo. They managed to make it through some very difficult times and came out singing. Their voices are absolutely beautiful, and you can instantly see the connection between the two of them. Or there’s this mother and daughter, who know exactly how to have fun together — even if that means dancing around in front of everyone on the daughter’s wedding day. They’re hilarious!

For Bree Hafen, dance is more than just a way to have fun with her daughter; it’s something that she’s truly passionate about. And, although her little girl is just 2 years old, she’s shared that passion and seen it grow in her daughter. So when Hafen auditioned for So You Think You Can Dance it was a no-brainer to bring little Stella along for the ride. What she didn’t expect? That Stella would get a chance to dance for the judges, too!
