During her San Francisco stop on February 27, the “WAP” rapper told the crowd, “It’s called the principle. You can’t be out here playing with a woman like me. People out here are praying for a woman like me. You hear me?”
Cardi, born Belcalis Almánzar, added, “I’m too confident to be lonely and too grown to be played with. You’ve never encountered a woman like this—never in your life! None of them can match me!”

On Monday, Cardi B took to X to clarify her now-viral remarks:
“Dear blogs, when I perform a song I always introduce it with a little razzle-dazzle… not everything is a shot or personal,” she tweeted.
“I’m actually repeating lyrics from the songs… Relax,” the “Bodak Yellow” emcee added.

Cardi’s rant came just weeks after she and Diggs ended their relationship “a few days” before his NFL team, the New England Patriots, lost to the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl 2026. The Grammy-winning rapper reportedly split from the athlete after he allegedly “betrayed her multiple times.”

Another source told People that the mom of four “pulled back” from her relationship with Diggs, 32, because she “couldn’t trust him.”
“Cardi is very no-nonsense. The second she felt that she couldn’t trust him, she pulled back to focus on her kids, her music, and her tour,” the insider said.
