If you’ve perused through social media anytime during the last few weeks, chances are you’ve caught a glimpse of someone doing the “Nae Nae” dance. The popular dance gets its name from Silento’s hit music video “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae).” Silento’s song has become a viral sensation with people everywhere filming their own dance sessions performing the “Nae Nae.”

This video proves that everyone from little kids to police officers can join in on the fun. When Sgt. Alan Eddins spotted a group of dancing kids during a search for a wanted person in Ennis, TX, he couldn’t refuse their invitation to join the party. Sgt. Eddins ran over to the kids and started picking up on the dance. Onlookers filmed the hilarious and heartwarming moment, posting it to social media where it went viral.
