When you first see this group of four Russians sitting in the freezing cold regions of their country you might be a bit confused. But there’s a reason why they’ve volunteered to play around in sub-zero temperatures, and when you hear it, you’ll easily agree it’s cool in more ways than one!

It turns out, through sheer chance, this group of percussionists discovered the musical beauty that can come from ice from a complete accident. The wife of one of the drummers slipped and fell on the ice, but when she hit the ground it reverberated in a stunning and beautiful fashion. From that moment on, the musician knew he had to get his friends in on it!

The ice of Lake Baikal, the oldest and deepest lake in the entire world, is really amazing to listen to. And when you hear the ancient rhythms which come out of these frozen waters, you’ll be left in awe at the amazing sound that comes out of it all!

Some people have begun to accuse the video of being fake, and you really can’t blame them. The beautiful sounds all seem to be in tune with each other in a way that we didn’t think was possible in nature. But sometimes, things just work themselves out in that way! Even if it is fake, you have to be impressed by the stunning landscape that surrounds them all!

Please SHARE this beautiful video if you think nature is musical!
