I absolutely love this video!
We’ve seen the GoPro used in some pretty creative ways, but this one takes the cake. Watch as newborn baby Isaac enters his house for the very first time after coming home from the hospital. Waiting at the door is Mom and Dad’s wonderful Golden Retriever, who anxiously awaited by the front door all day. Dad made sure to film it using the GoPro in such a way that viewers get an up close and personal look into the energy-filled experience like never before. The dog is excited, nervous, curious, and careful as the camera follows the family through the front door and into Isaac’s nursery.
Praise is important here. Parents should congratulate the dog on being careful and also reassure the dog that he or she is very loved. I couldn’t help but let out an “Awww!” as I marveled at this wonderful new family.
Some people may say it’s dangerous to bring a baby into a home with a big dog, but as we’ve seen many times before, dogs make for loving, protective family members. I love how Isaac is laying on the dog’s back by the end of the video. These two are going to be friends for life.
