You might think that potatoes are good forever. Think again. Bad potatoes can host a toxin that wards of pests – and also harms humans. If your spud turns green, toss it or risk having issues withyour nervous system.
Moldy bread might seem innocuous. But don’t just scrape off the mold, throw away the bread. Eating bread mold won’t just cause an upset stomach, it can potentially lead to serious things including cancer.
It’s a risk to eat bad eggs. If they’re not fresh, you risk getting an upset stomach or even salmonella. You can tell if it’s bad when the egg white and yolk aren’t really separated.
