Ok I got to be honest here I saw my grandmother wearing these back in the days… They attached to the bottom of your girdle and then to the top of your hose or stockings. They really served two purposes, 1 they held your girdle down and 2 they held your stockings up. I was so glad when we stopped wearing girdles and garter belts. They were called GARTERS… I asked my wife and she said that she should never wear those because they were too tight…. Me, as a guy, I find them quite sexy..
