Three years ago, Marie Robinson lost her four-year-old son Jack to brain cancer. Such a devastating event left this mother heartbroken. As a mother myself, I can’t even fathom the pain Marie must feel day after day.
But then, something amazing happened…
On the third anniversary of Jack’s death, Marie went to the cemetery to visit Jack. Any kind of connection to her son brought her comfort, so she laid in the grass where her son was laid to rest. That’s when a tiny robin landed on Jack’s tombstone. Marie whistled to the robin and then the bird landed on her foot! This, to Marie, wasn’t a normal encounter with a wild bird, it was a sign from her son.
The encounter didn’t end there. The bird had more to “say.” The robin circled around, Marie put her hand out, and the bird perched right on it.
Marie caught the entire encounter on camera. As she chokes back tears, she speaks to the bird who brought her a sign from her beloved son.
